A pious fraud worms his way into a wealthy household, cloaked in devotion and virtue. As the family patriarch falls blindly under his spell, reason and loyalty begin to fracture around him. Beneath polished manners and holy words lies manipulation, greed, and desire. When truth finally surfaces, the cost of misplaced trust threatens to unravel everything.

A modern adaptation of the epic poem Beowulf.

This farcical version of the Old English epic features a rapper chorus and a family of wisecracking servants. The boastful hero Beowulf saves pompous Hrothgar from the monster Grendel and battles Grendel’s mother (slow-mo style) in her underwater lair. Returning home, the hero tempts fate one last time by facing a dragon whose breath is worse than his bite.
