The CSS profile is not as commonly known as the FAFSA because not all college applicants need to fill it out. Only certain universities will want it for financial reasons. It’s not free as is FAFSA, it’ll cost you $25 but a must if you are applying to the schools that require it. Take a look at the link below for all the information:

NEVER use a paid site to apply or use the fafsa form!!!! The first F in fafsa is FREE!!!

It’s FAFSA time! Don’t waste a minute, get your taxes and and a fsa ID and start the form today!! You can save and come back any time. If you’re a NJ resident be sure to list a Jersey school first on the page where you list schools that you’ll be applying.
