On Friday, we celebrated our kindergarteners and all they have accomplished this year at Bowne-Munro! Kindergarten is all about learning, growing, making friends, and embracing a little fun and silliness along the way! These students did it all!

We are so proud of their success and can’t wait to see all they achieve as first graders. Thank you to Ms. Vidnansky and Ms. McCloskey for their patience and support throughout the year, and to our families for partnering with us every step of the way. 💚📚✨

Congratulations to our Early Learning Academy Preschool students!🎉 We have loved watching you learn and grow this year. A special thank you to Mrs. Schaffner, Miss Klodiana, and Miss Ashley for their care, dedication, and guidance during these important early years!

Our fourth graders had the opportunity to hear from Mrs. Wendy Tepper, granddaughter of Holocaust survivor Oscar Cukierman. As they read Number the Stars, her presentation brought history to life and highlighted the power of resilience, courage, kindness, and standing up to hatred.

At today’s whole school assembly, students reflected on their growth this school year and shared their summer goals with friends from different grade levels. Our fourth graders proudly stepped into leadership roles by offering advice and encouragement to younger students on ways to achieve their goals. 🌟

Whether the goal is reading more books, tying shoes independently, practicing math skills, learning to swim, trying out piano, or helping more at home, summer is a wonderful time for growth! Families can support their children by creating vision boards, breaking goals into small achievable steps, and encouraging them to keep trying along the way. 🎯

☀️🏃‍♀️🎉 Field Day 2026 was hot, humid, and full of happy memories! From sunshine to smiles, our students had an amazing day enjoying fun, games, and time together.
Extra thanks to PE teacher, Mr. Roy, our Bowne-Munro PTA, and all of our parent volunteers for helping make the day such a success. We couldn’t do it without you! ❤️
