Vikings Marching Band Camp!

Students are working hard, led by our talented staff: Ms. Lane, Ms. Swanton, Mr. Markowski, & Mr. Putnam! Part 1 is learned, and now working on tackling the rest 💪🏼Students are smiling 😊 and having fun, despite Wednesday’s hot weather! ☀️

We will kick-off the 2026-2027 school year with EB Vikings Marching Band camp, and we can’t wait!! 😜 🙌🏼💯

Camp is a little more than ONE WEEK away and Ms. Lane sent a VERY IMPORTANT Parent Square with lots of camp details yesterday. Please read and share with your marching band student.

✔️ If you have not paid the music activity fee yet, we are requesting this be paid by Sunday, August 16th - the day before camp starts.
✔️ For new band members: did you order your Drillmaster shoes? (It is helpful to wear them at band camp to practice in them.)

🎶 We are proud to announce that, for the 1st time, East Bridgewater Public Schools has been recognized as one of the Best Communities for Music Education by The NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Foundation! This prestigious designation highlights our district’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality music education to all students. 🥁

This year, only 1008 school districts across the nation earned this honor. 🎺

Now in its 27th year, the Best Communities for Music Education program celebrates school districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to ensure music access and education. East Bridgewater earned this designation by completing a comprehensive review of our music program, which included questions on funding, graduation requirements, student participation, instruction time, facilities, program support, and community involvement. All responses were verified by district leadership and reviewed by the nationally recognized arts research organization, WolfBrown. 🎤

Congratulations to our dedicated students, parents, music educators, and administrators who have made this recognition possible. And a special thank-you to Ms. Lynda Maccini Pavloff, Director of Music, for coordinating and submitting the application on behalf of East Bridgewater Public Schools. 🎹

Congratulations to the East Bridgewater Music Department on the wonderful performances in this morning’s Great EB Music Festival. Both high school Concert Choir and high school Concert Band earned Gold medals, and 7th/8th grade Chorus and 7th/8th grade Band earned Silver medals. Thank you to our adjudicators, Amanda Howland and Ray Ponte, for working with our ensembles today! We are so proud of you all! 🎉🎉🎉

JazzHers Jazz Jam in EB! 🎺🎹🥁🎷 A small but mighty group of students in grades 5-8 with 2 EB mentors! Thanks again to the fabulous Lisa Linde, our Gordon Mitchell band director Isabelle Swanton, the JazzHers board and the wonderful Jazzhers program for empowering girls to learn and improve their jazz skills! Brava! 💜🎶💪🏼
