October is Principal Appreciation Month, and we are so lucky to celebrate ours!
Some people lead a school, and some people become the very heartbeat of it. Our principal is both. She gives so much of her time, energy, heart, and soul to WSNES, and the impact she makes reaches far beyond what words could ever fully capture.
She doesnโt take herself too seriously, but when it comes to loving our students, she is ALL IN. She is fierce when fighting for them, relentless in advocating for what they need, and unwavering in her belief that every child deserves to be loved, supported, and given every opportunity to succeed.
She is wise, a problem solver, an advocate, a believer, an encourager, and a strong leader. She is the person who helps us find a way when things feel impossible, reminds us why our work matters when things get hard, and makes sure the people around her know they are valued. And yes, she may be a little long-winded sometimes (currently trying to be like her ๐), but we know that so much of that comes from a heart that wants to make sure every person feels appreciated, seen, and loved.
At WSNES, we KNOW we are loved. And that is not something every school can say.
The truth is, the heart of a school is not found in its walls, its programs, or its test scores. It is found in the people who pour themselves into it every single day. And our principal is the beat behind the heart of WSNES. She sets the tone, lifts us up, fights for our students and staff, and reminds us what it looks like to lead with both strength, love, and a whole lot of laughter.
We hope she knows that all the time, energy, sacrifices, prayers, encouragement, and love she pours into us do not go unnoticed. We see her. We appreciate her. We are better because of her. And we are so thankful that she is the one leading our school family.
Happy Principal Appreciation Month, Ms. Andrews!
