✨ A little extra FUN has landed at WSNES! 💙💛

Our students got their first chance to try out our new interactive floor projector, and judging by these pictures… it was a HIT! 😂🙌

Learning and movement go hand in hand, and we are so excited to have another tool that gets our Little Eagles moving, playing, interacting, and learning together! Of course, before we could use it for anything too serious, we had to make sure it passed the most important test - the kid test! I think the jumping, dancing, and BIG smiles say it passed! 💯😂

We are always looking for new ways to make WSNES a place where kids are excited to come to school, excited to learn, and know that they matter!

🦅💙💛 OUR BLUE HAS A NAME! 💛💙🦅
If you saw the pictures from High Five Friday, you saw just how much our babies LOVE Blue - and how much Blue loves them right back! 🥹💙

Inside that Eagle is senior Kendall Lowery! Kendall, thank you for loving on our Little Eagles so well. The hugs, high fives, pictures, and excitement you gave them this morning meant more than you probably realize. They absolutely adore Blue, and knowing that this is your senior year makes these moments even more special. 🦅💛

And we have another senior we are so proud of - Laila Likely! 📣💙 Laila is one of our fabulous WSN cheerleaders! We love watching our Big Eagles pour into our Little Eagles and show them what it means to wear that blue and gold with pride.

Kendall and Laila, enjoy every single “last” this year. You have a whole school full of Little Eagles watching you, cheering for you, and looking up to you. 💙 Once an Eagle, ALWAYS an Eagle! 🦅 We love our seniors! Now let’s cheer them on tonight! 💙💛🏈📣

🏈🦅💙💛 OUR SECRET SENIORS! 💛💙🦅🏈
We love ALL of our Eagles, but there is just something extra special about senior year. These boys are experiencing their “last firsts,” and our Little Eagles wanted a way to remind them throughout the season just how loved, supported, and celebrated they are!

So… we have SECRET SENIORS! 🤫💙 Today’s surprise was a BREAKFAST BAG to start their first game day of senior year! 🥞🏈

We also want to give a huge THANK YOU to Head Coach and Athletic Director Mike Sims. Coach Sims is truly one of a kind. The way he leads, encourages, and pours into these young men goes far beyond football. We are so thankful he is OURS and so grateful for the example he sets for both our Big Eagles and our Little Eagles! 💙

Tonight is a big one. For these seniors, it’s the FIRST game of their LAST season as WSN Eagles. 🥹🏈 Soak it all in, boys. Your Little Eagles are watching, cheering, and already looking up to you. Now go make that first “last game” one to remember! 💙💛🦅 GO EAGLES!!! 🏈

🦅💙💛 HIGH FIVE FRIDAY with our 2026–2027 WSN EAGLES!!! 💛💙🦅 What a way to start a Friday! Our little Eagles were welcomed this morning with high fives, big smiles, lots of school spirit, and plenty of Eagle Pride from our WSN Eagles! 🖐️🏈📣

There is just something special about seeing our BIG Eagles cheering on our LITTLE Eagles! 💙 From the football players and cheerleaders to our mascot, they made sure our babies started their day knowing they are part of one BIG Eagle family! We love building that Eagle Pride from the very beginning! 🦅💛💙

Now it’s time to return the love - come out and SUPPORT THE EAGLES tonight!!! 🏈📣 GO EAGLES!!! 🦅💙💛

📚🦫 Look who came to school today! Our students had a special visitor - Buc-ee! ❤️ Mrs. Lindley brought the story Buc-ee Goes to School to life with a little help from this adorable guy!

There’s just something magical about connecting a good book to something our babies already know and love. 🥰 Anything that gets them excited about reading is a WIN in our book!

Our precious Mr. Terry. 💙 It just doesn’t come any better than this fella right here! He is truly the master of all trades, and today we made that official. 😂

Our precious Mrs. Cash and Mrs. Wilson put in a maintenance request to repair the “dinglehopper” in the front door. Now, what exactly is a dinglehopper. Well, in this case, it’s not Scuttle’s human fork. IYKYK. 🤣 But what did Mr. Terry do? He walked right into the office and, without missing a beat, requested the exact location of the dinglehopper that needed his attention. 😂😂😂

No questions. No confusion. No need for the actual name of the part. Apparently, “dinglehopper” is a perfectly acceptable maintenance term at WSNES. 🤣
And wouldn’t you know it - Mr. Terry found the dinglehopper AND FIXED IT! 🔧🙌🏼 That’s when you know you’ve reached master-of-all-trades status. We don’t have to know what something is called. We just make up a name, point Mr. Terry in the general direction, and somehow he knows exactly what we’re talking about. 😂

School days are busy. Sometimes they’re downright unbelievable. But moments like this remind us that laughing together is good for the soul. ❤️ We sure do love our Mr. Terry - and Mrs. Cash and Mrs. Wilson for officially adding DINGLEHOPPER to the WSNES maintenance vocabulary. 😂

Work order: COMPLETE. ✅
Dinglehopper: FIXED. 🔧
Office staff: STILL GIGGLING. 🤣 Just another day at WSNES! 💙💛

📚🦅 WEEK ONE IS DONE! 🦅📚

And just like that… WE MADE IT! 🙌🏼💛 The first week of school is officially in the books, and what a week it has been! New routines, new friendships, lots of learning, a few surprises 😂, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of love poured into our babies.

Our students showed up ready to learn, and our teachers and staff gave this week EVERYTHING they had. Now it’s time for everybody to go home, put their feet up, REST, recharge, spend some time with the people they love, and enjoy a well-deserved weekend! ❤️ Because come Monday morning… WE GET TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN! 😂🙌🏼

Weekend: LOADING. 😴
Week Two: WE’RE COMING FOR YOU! 💪🏼📚

We love our students. We love our people. And there is truly NOWHERE we’d rather be than WSNES! 💛 Have the BEST weekend, Eagle family! Rest up - we’ll see everyone on Monday! 💛
