Our next Lunch with a Scientist presentation will be on October 13th at 11:30am! Join us in person at the MacMillan Environmental Learning Center (the new addition to the Lindeman Center) or online at https://z.umn.edu/2026LWAS. Dr. Jiarong Hong will discuss how following particles through the air can help us better understand wind energy, smoke transport, prescribed burning, and wildfire mitigation.

In-person attendees will get the opportunity to watch a practice burn, weather permitting.
