Cornell IPM’s Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP) has announced the addition of three new courses to its Distance Learning Center: Introduction to Biological Control – Part One: Non-pesticide Biocontrols, Introduction to Biological Control—Part Two: Biopesticides and Insect Pests of Cucurbits, allow pesticide applicators to earn recertification credits by learning the basics of biocontrol, biopesticides and how to manage insect and mite pests in squash, pumpkins, gourds, melons and cucumbers.

The Cornell Climate Steward Training will take place Thursdays, September 10 through December 3. (No class November 26)

Through this FREE 12-week training, you'll explore climate science, local mitigation and adaptation strategies, effective science communication, and community project planning. Participants will develop a community action project and present it during the final session.
