We hope everyone enjoys the Labor Day weekend, and we’re excited to see students back in our hallways and classrooms on Tuesday, September 8! Enjoy these scenes from supply drop off day. New pre-K and Montessori students, as well as our new kindergartners saw their classrooms and met their teachers, while returning students dropped off supplies. All were greeted by a very special friend, the St. Mary’s Bee!

‘Twas the night before school supply drop off, and all through St. Mary’s, not a creature was stirring, not even a… well, that’s not quite true. 😉 Our teachers were stirring all day and even into the night getting their classrooms picture perfect for students to arrive tomorrow morning! From Montessori Pre-K first lessons, to Kindergarten Orientation, and Grades1-8, we can’t wait to see you all in the morning!

Popsicles with the Principal is TONIGHT from 6-7 pm on the St. Mary School Playground! New students & returning families, we hope you'll join us to enjoy a popsicle & some fun with your school friends & Mrs. D’Angelo before heading back to class for the year. If you're new, this is a great time to get to know other SMS families!

PLEASE NOTE: there is a bee's nest in one area of the playground that will be roped off, children & adults should stay out of that area until we are sure the nest has been fully taken care of. Thank you!

😎 Psssttt.... there's just 14 DAYS LEFT before school starts! Now is a great time to check out School Supply Lists & be sure your rising K-8 students are completing their Summer Work!

☀️ K-8 students, don’t forget to finish up your summer assignments! Packets were given out to students in June. If you have questions about the work your student should complete, please contact the school office at 716-689-8424, or [email protected]. Please refer to your child’s teacher’s directives for the due dates. Some are due at Supply Drop Off & others the first day or week of school. Students who complete the summer work do not experience the “summer slide” & are ready to pick up where they left off in June. It is important to do these assignments!

We 're wishing all of our St. Mary's families 14 more days of fun & relaxation, & we can't wait to see everyone's smiling faces back on campus very soon!
