Amherst Baby & Childcare Center Amherst Baby & Childcare Center, Inc. is a family-owned and operated daycare. The center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children & Family Services.

was founded in 1994 by Melvin and Carol Walbesser with a mission to provide a safe and secure haven for children. We follow a modified Montessori method of education which includes good manners, self-confidence, and collaborative play.

As summer comes to an end we look back on all the fun times we have had. Each year our ABC Family Picnic is one of our favorite highlights of the year. This year was no exception.

Diana Cicciarelli 26 years ago I walked into Amherst Baby & Childcare Center, Inc to start my job as the director. I had no idea then how much that job would mean to me. I can't imagine how many diapers that I have changed, bottles fed, tears wiped or hugs given and received. I know that I am so grateful for it all! Especially for the amazing children that I have met! I hope that we have helped to shape their lives in a positive way šŸ©·. I have also met countless wonderful moms and dads of said children , that have become friends, and family. I have been fortunate to have SO many great staff members in my classrooms that have become friends and family as well . Every day is not a great day, but there are great things in every day! For all of you that have been at the daycare or are there now, thank you for sharing your babiesā¤ļø.

We are so thankful to have you!!!!
