There is NO way that we are almost to the end of the school year! This second-to-last week of BCWP has been a jam-packed!
We have had a Water Day for 2k, lots of student birthdays, Art Day for 1K, and our annual Mother’s Day Breakfast! The teachers also celebrated all of their hard work with a dinner last night. We are so appreciative of the work and thought they put in every week for all of our sweet students.

I have to brag on my sweet friends! They are living out our call to spread the Gospel by sharing food with others for our food drive!

It is our last ✨Staff Spotlight✨ of this school year! That is absolutely mind-blowing but we end with a good one! This month, we celebrate our dear, sweet Mrs. Christel! She is so nurturing to each of her students and even us on staff. We are so grateful she is a part of BCWP! Here are some questions she answered for us so you would know her better!

•Any teaching experience, training, or certifications worth highlighting.
I’ve been teaching preschool for 7 years.

•How long have you been at the school?
I’ve been with BCWP for 2 years.

•Why do you love working with children?
I love being a preschool teacher because I love their curiosity, their infectious laughter and the meaningful relationship I build with them. It’s so rewarding when they want to come to school, to watch them as they grow and gain their independence. My prayer and hope is that I can create a loving environment where they enjoy learning, build confidence and develop sweet friendships.

•What is your favorite part of being at BCWP?
I love working with all these fabulous women!They are so supportive and can be your biggest cheerleader when times get tough. It is truly awesome to be apart of this wonderful ministry and to work with some of the most amazing people I’ve ever have had the privilege to work with. I’m very blessed to work at BCWP!!

•What are 3 fun facts about you?
1. I’m a mom of twins- a boy and a girl who are both in college
2. I love the water. I love everything about the beach and the lake.
3. My favorite thing to do is be with my family.

•If you could only eat one snack forever, what would it be?
My favorite snacks are sweet and salty snacks. Anything sweet and salty

Part Two of 🌸Spring Day🌸

🌸We celebrated this season with our annual Spring Day! 🌸
We try to provide many fun-filled days full of hands-on activities throughout the year and this was our last special event day for the school year! We hope you enjoy these pictures of the students from yesterday!

This week we will be celebrating our amazing teaching staff! We are so blessed to have teachers who love and care for our students in such a special way! They truly go the extra mile! Thank you BCWP teachers!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

✨This month, our staff spotlight features Mrs. Meredith! ✨
You would never guess that this is her first year with us at BCWP. She has integrated with the staff so well and we are grateful she joined our team! She loves her students well and is such a nurturing teacher. Here’s a little bit more about her below:

• How long have you been at the school? This is my first year at Brushy Creek, but my 8th year teaching preschool.

• What are some of your favorite hobbies?
I love to hike, snowboard, read, camp, and do anything outside!

• Why do you love working with children?
I love teaching preschool because kids are just so pure…they are exactly who they are, and they say exactly what they mean (good or bad), and I love that about this age! I love watching them grow and learn throughout the year, and watching their relationships with their friends flourish ❤️

• If you could only eat one snack forever, what would it be?
One snack forever….hmm…probabaly a charcuterie board of sorts! Cheese, crackers, fruits…covers all the bases for a good snack 😀

• What is your favorite part of being at BCWP?
My favorite part about working at BCWP…the kids and my coworkers! It’s been such a blessing to my life to be surrounded with such amazing and supportive women, and the love I get from these kids on a daily basis fills me with joy. I’m very grateful to work here!
