ORIGO Education celebrates the life of Gladys West, a mathematics pioneer, United States Air Force Hall of Fame inductee, and a member of the "Hidden Figures" group of mathematicians whose work advanced critical projects for the United States government and military. Gladys passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 95.
