🚲 Our first Bike/Walk to School Day was a huge hit! A very skilled individual counted approximately 174 people in attendance. Check out the video in the comments. Thank you to all of the families who helped make this day possible. Shamrocks are the best!

🧬 Who knew learning genetics could be this sweet? After a challenging week tackling complex molecular biology concepts, our 8th graders wrapped things up by constructing their own DNA double helix models using Twizzlers for the sugar-phosphate backbone and colorful marshmallows for the nitrogen bases (A, T, C, and G). Building an edible model helped bring these tricky microscopic concepts to life and made everything click into place after a week of tough material. It was the perfect reward for a week of hard work and deep learning!

🌍 How do we know Earth's continents were once connected? Today, our 7th graders put Alfred Wegener’s continental drift theory to the test by building their own supercontinents! By matching up identical fossils, rock patterns, climate evidence, and coastlines across modern landmasses, students pieced together the giant puzzle of Pangaea. It was a fantastic hands-on way to bring Earth's history to life!

Mrs. Hartschen’s American Sign Language students decided to branch out and share their knowledge today. They taught students and teachers how to ask a question and respond appropriately. Peep Scotty and Mr. Moser’s conversation!
