Join us for "Generations in Harmony," a unique intergenerational music class where children aged 0-8 and their caregivers come together with senior residents at Merrill Gardens (an assisted living facility) to make music, share stories, and build meaningful connections.

Want to know our favorite piece of classical music 🎶 to introduce to your young child 🧒?

It’s Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals! 🦢 🦁 🐢 … but why?

A series of short movements make this piece of music accessible for young attention spans.

Teaching musical concepts comes naturally in this composition because of the wide variation of style, instruments, dynamics and tempo.

Additionally, children can recognize where each animal appears in the music after only a few listens!

Carnival of the Animals is so much fun for the whole family! We’ve created a week-long event around this special piece of music we think you will love! 💙 It’s called “Come to the Carnival,” and the music starts on Monday, August 7th Spend 5 days with us as we embark on an interactive experience!
