Eagle Academy offers a small-school environment for students in 9, 10, 11, and 12th grade who are at-risk of not succeeding at their current high school. For some students, adapting to a larger school environment is simply overwhelming. Others may have learning or emotional issues that make school a greater challenge. Others may simply need more individualized instruction to spark their interest in learning. The program at Eagle Academy High School is designed to keep students in high school while focused on graduation with a successful academic record. Other Information:

* School Size: Eagle Academy serves students in grades 9 through 12, with a maximum population of 150 students.
* Admission: Admission is determined by State established criteria on a case-by-case basis. To find out about admission, contact the school directly (see "Application Process" on this web page).
* Transportation: Transportation is provided via shuttle buses from the high school Eagle Academy students' home high school. Students are permitted to provide their own transportation. APPLICATION PROCESS

The State of Idaho has developed criteria which determine if a student qualifies for an alternative school setting. Some of those criteria include:

* Has repeated at least one grade
* Has absenteeism that is greater than 10% during the preceding semester
* Has an overall grade point average that is less than 1.5 prior to enrollment in an alternative program
* Has failed one or more basic skill subjects
* Is two or more semester credits per year behind the rate required to graduate

Hey guys! For the next year, until the open invitation reunion, I'm going to try to ask you to share memories/pictures about specific topics each week! I say ' try', because, well, let's be honest...life is super busy! Lol lol. I'm thinking things like different subjects, things we did during breaks/lunch, where we went to eat, best friends, prom, our favorite teachers etc. So for this week's discussion, let's brainstorm the different categories we'd like to see! Give me your best ideas!!

Hey everyone! I suppose this get together may not happen this year... But for real, how does everyone feel about next year? We can start planning it now so we are actually prepared and organized.
