THANK YOU! Just want everyone to know I highly appreciate the condolences I received on Thor. Your wishes have help. It is so hard as I still see him walking around when I see his brother Loki. Some people cannot understand how close you can be to a pet. However, Thor's post has given me the highest reply I have received on a post. It is really remarkable. Thanks Again! He was 10 and had 5 trips to Disney World.

SEPTEMBER 11TH (ON THIS DATE) There is so much meaning for so many for so many reasons on this date... For me on this date 48 years ago (1976) I married to my loving wife Dawn. September 11th 2001 our 25th Anniversary we were returning from Disneyland. Leaving John Wayne airport late on September 10th we landed in O'Hara early that fateful morning around 12:30 am less than 8 hours before the attack. We almost stayed the extra day to celebrate the Anniversary but decided to do that at home. Unfortunately that day was consumed in watching the TV. My best man had out an Anniversary sign in our yard. NEVER FORGET WHAT HAPPENED THIS DAY.

CRAFT SHOW EAGLE RIVER SATURDAY JULY 27TH: Well despite my back problems I have been able to sit at my lathe and add a few more craft items to my repudiator and will be selling them at that time. I am expecting my Viking Gnomes to be a seller. However, I do have Santas, Snowmen, bowls, and vases. Here are some of the items I have made over the last year and a half.

BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE: In 2021 we went to Disney World for the 100th Anniversary with a huge group from our Disney Fan Club. Because we were with a large group we did not have good seats. However Dawn and I returned in 2022 and we did get the best seats in the house for the Harmonious Fireworks. This video was blocked for sometime but has now cleared copyrights. This is the "complete" show and I suggest if you want the best view watch it on your smart TV on YouTube and Type in WDW EPCOT HARMONIOUS FIREWORKS October 2022 (use the Large & Small case as is)

REMEMBER THE PAST: I graduated High School in 1969, my car at that time was a 1966 Mustang 289 HP with a three speed on the floor. A car I wish I had today. To bring back some memory of that I belong to a "Plastic Model Club". They deal with creating models with "perfection". Our Club as a spring model show that is judge in multiple categories. Military, Ships, Planes, Cars, etc., etc. This year they has a special category of "60 Years of the Mustang". In the old days when you built a model you were done in 5 days. This model took 6 months as I tried very hard to "Match My Mustang". I got a first place to go with it. Photos below are the one and only picture of my car and the others are the model.

MASSIVE CIDADA OUTBREAK IN OVER 200 YEARS: Well, if you live in Illinois you will be at “Ground Zero” for this year’s outbreak of cicadas. This phenomenon IS NOT climate control. It is a natural occurrence of the cycle of two broods of cicadas, the 13-year and 17-year broods meeting at the same time. The last time this occurred was in 1803 and Thomas Jefferson was present. I lived in Illinois most of my life and recall a year, as a kid, the mass infestation of these bugs all over the place and that was just one brood hatch. This year in some places you will be walking on them and hearing the crunch, crunch, crunch.. Be ready as the hatch is coming from the end of May into June. “I hear they are good to eat.

A MOMENT NOT FORGOTTEN: With the summer Olympics coming up this year I was reminded of the special event my fishing partner (Jimmy Floback) and I had fishing the bass tournament of the WORLD POLICE & FIRE GAMES 2001 in Indianapolis. We had right around 100 boats and had to fish in a "No Wake" restriction. I was able to get 3 bass at the far end of the to put us into second place for a Silver medal. Jimmy & I in the Red, White, & Black team shirts.
