There’s nothing quite like bringing the farm to the classroom!

Mrs. Carpenter’s class at Hillside Elementary welcomed back Calves in the Classroom for their second visit! Jayden stopped by to share an update on Milkshake and teach students how ranchers care for their steers as they prepare them for shows.

Students wrapped up the lesson with a fun relay race, putting their new knowledge to work as they raced through the steps of a rancher’s morning routine!

What a fun, hands-on way to learn about agriculture and the hard work that goes into caring for animals!

Celebrate Constitution Day! On Thursday, September 17, students and staff are encouraged to show their patriotic spirit by wearing red, white, and blue as we recognize the signing of the U.S. Constitution and celebrate an important part of our nation’s history.
