EPMS students and families, Back to School Orientation is coming up! Join us on Tuesday, September 1st, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the EPMS gym. Please note that we will be closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.

Students will have the opportunity to:
Get their school photo taken
Pick up their class schedule
Get their student ID
Pay fees with cash or check
Practice using their lockers

After picking up a schedule, students can take a self-guided tour, find their classrooms, and get familiar with campus before the first day of school.

Before participating, students must sign up through FinalForms, have all required documents completed, and upload a current physical completed within the past two years.

Eagle Point Middle School 7th and 8th grade football is getting ready for the 2026 season! Students planning to participate in football should be signed up in FinalForms with all required documents completed. A current physical, dated within the past two years, must also be uploaded to FinalForms.

Calling all future Eagles! If you're an incoming 7th or 8th grader planning to play football at Eagle Point Middle School or White Mountain Middle School, don't miss this FREE Middle School Football Camp hosted by the Eagle Point High School coaches and players!

Join us August 11–13 from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at the EPHS Football Stadium to build your skills, meet the coaches, and have some fun. No registration is required; just bring a water bottle, your cleats, and be ready to work!

Ryder Statz exemplifies determination and achievement. Always seeking new challenges, Ryder joined a STEAM class midway through the year and quickly set his sights on SkillsUSA competition. In his first year competing, he earned 1st place in both Prepared Speech and Extemporaneous Speaking. His dedication extends beyond SkillsUSA, with years of participation in Brain Bowl and Scavenger Hunt. Ryder's work ethic, versatility, and commitment to growth inspire those around him to push beyond their own expectations.

Joyner Statz is recognized for both his academic excellence and exceptional character. Through his involvement in Brain Bowl, Scavenger Hunt, creative writing, and writing competitions, Joyner consistently demonstrates high achievement. What truly sets him apart, however, is his willingness to support others. His kindness, leadership, and encouragement help create an environment where everyone can learn, grow, and succeed.

Michelle Sked has been an invaluable leader and support staff member at EPMS. Her extensive knowledge of the building, programs, systems, and school history has made a tremendous difference throughout the year. Through her professionalism, partnership, and dedication, Michelle helps ensure the success of students and staff alike. Her leadership and commitment to excellence make her truly deserving of recognition.

Nicole Spangler's leadership has created incredible opportunities for students to learn, compete, and succeed. This year, she helped lead programs including the SOU Scavenger Hunt, Brain Bowl, and the SOESD Spontaneous Contraption Challenge. She also guided EPMS students to an outstanding SkillsUSA season, with state championships in Robotics: Urban Search and Rescue, Prepared Speech, and Pin Design, along with strong performances across multiple events. At the national level, students earned 7th place in Robotics and 9th place in T-Shirt Design. Most importantly, Nicole empowers students to develop confidence, leadership skills, and a passion for learning.

Congratulations to Ryder, Joyner, Michelle, and Nicole on these well-deserved recognitions. Thank you for the positive impact you make on our school community every day.
