Today, our school community was deeply blessed to welcome our newly ordained Bishop, John J. Gomez, who celebrated mass with us. Every grade level from Pre-K 3 through 8th grade, along with our dedicated staff, filled the church. The presence of families and community members made the celebration truly special. It was a beautiful day that we’ll remember for years to come. Thank you, Bishop Gomez, for sharing your liturgy with us.

We are truly blessed to welcome our newly ordained Bishop of the Diocese of Laredo, Bishop John J. Gomez. We give thanks to God for his faithful “yes” to the call of shepherding our diocese and pray that the Holy Spirit will guide him with wisdom, strength, and abundant grace as he begins this new chapter of ministry.

May the Lord bless Bishop Gomez as he leads His flock with love, humility, and compassion. We are honored to welcome him and look forward to walking together in faith.

On Friday, May 22nd, our school proudly held its Annual Awards Ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall. It was a wonderful morning celebrating the achievements and accomplishments of all of our students through special awards, recognitions, and certificates.

We were honored to have many parents and families in attendance to support our students and help make this event a great success.

Thursday May 14th, our students had so much fun dressing up as their future selves and sharing their dreams for tomorrow! From doctors and teachers to firefighters, veterinarians, athletes, and more, it was inspiring to see the goals and ambitions God has placed in their hearts. ✨

We are so proud of our students for dreaming big, working hard, and believing in the wonderful plans God has for their future. May they always continue to follow their passions with faith, courage, and determination. 💙💛

🍓🥐💙 A very special THANK YOU to the Montoya Family for their thoughtful treats for our teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week!

The delicious pan dulce, fresh fruit, and Nutella made for such a wonderful and sweet surprise this morning. Your generosity and kindness truly brightened our day and reminded us how blessed we are to have such supportive families in our OLOR community.
