It’s a little emotional watching my babies grow up! 🥹❤️ These 3- and 4-year-olds who once were my tiny babies are now getting ready for BIG SCHOOL next year! 🎒✏️

This morning, as an extra learning activity, they worked on their writing and early math skills by practicing pencil control, tracing, name writing, and number and shape recognition. ✏️🔢🔺🟦

I’m so proud of how much they’ve grown and how independent they’re becoming with their work. Little by little, we’re getting them school-ready for their next big adventure! 🥰📚🍎

This past week, we’ve been working on following simple directions as part of our back-to-school routine. ❤️

We danced to our Cold & Freeze song and practiced listening, moving, and freezing when the song told us to. 🎶🧊

Our little learners had so much fun “feeding” our hungry puppy! 🐾 Using tongs and their little hands to pick up the colorful pom-poms made learning feel just like play. 🥰

Such a simple activity, but so much learning—fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, color recognition, focus, and problem-solving! 🌈🐶

🦸‍♂️💥 SUPERHERO POWER BUILDERS! 💥🦸‍♀️

Back-to-school fun is in full SUPERHERO mode! ❤️💙💛 Today our toddlers and preschoolers worked together during our Superhero Power Builders group activity!

While they were busy building, balancing, creating, and problem-solving, they were also strengthening so many important skills: ✨ fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, color recognition, spatial awareness, concentration, creativity, early STEM concepts, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, sharing, and taking turns.

The best kind of learning happens when little hands are busy and little minds are having FUN! 💪🧠✨

First day of school 2026–2027! 🍎❤️

Feeling extra blessed today. More than half of my older kiddos have been with me for almost 3 years, and some of my younger ones for over a year already. 🥹 It’s crazy how fast time goes! I’ve gotten to watch them grow and learn so much, and I’m thankful their families continue to trust me with their little ones. ❤️

Thank you so much for the sweet gifts too! You guys know how to spoil Mrs. Yara. 😂💕 I truly appreciate you all!

We are SO ready for another school year together, building new memories, achieving new goals, and celebrating lots of new milestones along the way! 📚✏️🍎❤️

We had a fun surprise this morning! While we were outside, the children found the cutest little baby toad. 🐸 They were so excited! We carefully caught it so everyone could take a closer look and talk about where toads live, what they eat, and why they’re important to nature.

I love turning unexpected moments like these into learning opportunities. Sometimes the best lessons don’t come from a book—they come from God’s beautiful creation. 💚🌿

🏴‍☠️☠️💎 Bears Buried Treasure Adventure! 💎🏴‍☠️

After reading Bear’s Buried Treasure, our students explored a sensory bin filled with sand, sea creatures, jewels, and a treasure chest. We combined two activities into one by digging for hidden treasures and matching the jewels to their picture cards.

The children had so much fun searching, digging, matching, and sharing their discoveries with friends. They also practiced an important social skill—waiting patiently for their turn and taking turns with friends while exploring the treasure bin together.

Activities like these help strengthen fine motor skills, problem-solving, listening skills, patience, and cooperative play while making learning fun!

💦☀️ Water Fun Friday Recap! ☀️💦

What a fun-filled day at Little Disciples Preschool & Daycare! Our students enjoyed splashing, sliding, cooling off, and making wonderful memories with their friends. From our toddlers exploring the water and ball pools to our older children racing down the slides, there were smiles and laughter everywhere!

Water play is more than just fun—it helps children build coordination, confidence, social skills, and encourages active movement while staying cool during these hot summer days.

We wrapped up our morning with cold treats, plenty of water play, and lots of happy faces. Thank you, parents, for sending your children prepared for another successful Water Fun Friday!

💙 We are so thankful for the opportunity to create a safe, fun, and engaging summer experience for all of our little learners.
