Hi, I'm Mikel Kissell, and I'm so excited to be joining the school community as the yoga teacher! Yoga has transformed my life by helping me become more present, resilient, and a better mom, and I'm passionate about sharing those same tools with children. Meet Mrs. Lowery - one of our special education teachers!

I am excited to join the Eagle Valley community. I am from Texas, but my husband and I have been living in Utah for 5 years now with no plans of returning. We love the mountains, so many national parks to go to and no humidity. We recently celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary and I am blessed to be a bonus mom to 3 beautiful children. I have been a special education teacher for almost 20 years and there is no other place I'd rather be šŸ˜ When I am not teaching, you can find me walking or riding my bike with my dogs, traveling with my husband, or going to sporting events. Meet Mrs. Lozano - our new ML coach!

My name is Maren Lozano, and I am excited to be returning to Eagle Valley as the ESL Coach. This will be my 17th year in education, and Eagle Valley holds a special place in my heart since itā€™s where I began my teaching career. I have been married to my Colombian husband for 7 years, and together we have two energetic boys and a baby girl who joined our family in May. I speak Spanish and am passionate about supporting multilingual learners and their families. Hello, I'm Marleen Castaneda! I am so excited to be returning to Eagle Valley as a teacher after previously working here as an aide. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy traveling, visiting Disney parks, and spending time with my cats. Meet Mrs. Chobaz - our new 5th grade teacher!

Hi! My name is Karli Chobaz. I am from Houston, Texas and have been in Utah since 2022. I love to go on adventures near and far, read, try out new recipes, sketch/paint, hike, and spend time with my husband. This will be my 13th year in education. Iā€™ve taught 3rd, 4th, and was a behavior interventionist for a couple years. I am thrilled to be joining EVES and teaching 5th grade this year :)!
