I am currently enrolling in our Tots preschool for ages 2- 3. I am so excited for this opportunity to provide a play-based, hands-on educational experience for your kids! My experience and what makes me qualified to work with your children is:

- and my most important and valuable experience: Mother to 5 very different and wonderful children ages 14 years - 2 years! In my preschool for tots I aim to make the 2 hours that I am with your child valuable by providing them opportunities to grow by providing cooperative play-time with other kids their age, circle time where we will learn through singing and hand games, table time where we will add a small, age appropriate bit of educational activities. And since we are "Little Patriots" Preschool, we will be learning some Patriotic songs and about what makes a true Patriot. Thank you for your interest in Little Patriots Preschool!

I will no longer be teaching preschool after this school year concludes in April/May 2026. I have fallen really ill, was in the hospital for a couple days and anticipate having a minor sugery in the late spring. It has become necessary to focus on my health.
While I am sad to be moving on from this role, I am committed to making the remainder of our time together as wonderful and productive as possible for your little ones.

One of the activities I do to practice the letter of the week is a letter collage. In this case, G is for goldfish (crackers!). This is good fine motor skills practice and they learn the shape of the letter in a fun way!

This week we kicked off our DinoLand unit! We have learned what a Paleontologist is, and what they do . We tried "excavating" our own Dino bones. This involved cutting, Gluing, and then covering our pieces with sand. Then we very carefully brushed off the sand to show off our discoveries. Now, when I threw the red sand on the projects, I didn't think that it would ultimately lead to a display of what could be bloody DinosaursđŸ˜† , but that's ok! In our Wednesday class, we created our own dinos by fitting together "bones" ( tag board pieces) like a puzzle. Fun week!

Christmas fun in preschool!!! I buy these gingerbread house kits from the dollar store for $1.25, and I construct them on my own with a homemade royal icing. Then all the kids bring a treat to donate for the decorating and they have a blast!

Christmas fun in Toddler School decorating "Christmas Trees"! We took a sugar ice cream cone (pointy end), covered it with green frosting and placed the cone upside down on a plate. Then we used mini M&M's and mini marshmallows for decorating.

I have already seen some preschools advertising for next school year! I am not ready to register yet. Priority registration for current families will be first, then for other families who have been to the preschool before. General registration will happen end of February or beginning of March 2026. For the 2026/2027 school year I will be offering:

Preschool for Tues/Thurs (only. No Wednesday preschool class will be offered next year), 9:30am-noon
Tuition - $100/month, for ages 3 1/2 (must turn 4 by March 31, 2027) - 5.

Toddler School for Wednesday (only) 9:30am-11:30am
Tuition- $50/month, for ages 2 1/2 (must turn 3 by April 30, 2027) - 3 (does not need to be potty trained).

Our "Explore the Rainforest" unit has been so much fun so far! We have made patterns on Geckos, dipped and tasted chocolate treats, made our own counting game using Dart Frogs, created Praying Mantis hats, painted our Snakeskin inspired art and worked together to build Fran the Anaconda who is about 30 feet long! And we are still learning letters, numbers, shapes and colors. We stay busy!
