🎻 We’re almost back! 🎻

MLStrings lessons begin the week of August 10th, and we can’t wait to see everyone again!

A few quick reminders as we get ready:

• First Lesson: Parents are welcome to come in for the first 5 minutes during the week of August 10th to help their child get settled. (For instrument safety reasons, please do not bring siblings.) We want everyone to have a smooth and comfortable start!....
...After those first 5 minutes, all lessons and classes will be closed as we’ll be using every inch of our expanded space for student learning. Thank you for helping us create a safe, focused environment for everyone!

• New students: Be sure to have your shoulder rest (violin/viola) or rock stop (cello) ready for lessons.

• Returning students: Be sure to have your white binder, shoulder rest/ rock stop, and all music books with you at EVERY lesson. 🎉

And don’t forget to join us for our Back to Music Night!

🎻 We can't wait to welcome everyone back to MLStrings! Lessons begin the week of **August 10**, and it's going to be an incredible year! ✨

New students:
• Violin & Viola – Please order your shoulder rest before your first lesson.
• Cello – Please order your rock stop before your first lesson.

A few quick reminders:
🎵 August 1 – Monthly tuition is processed through Fons (now MakeMusic)
🏡 August 7 – Our studio expansion is complete!
🎻 Week of August 10 – Lessons begin!

We're excited to be using every inch of our newly expanded studio for student learning this year! To maximize our learning space and help students stay focused, lessons and classes will now be closed during instructional time. We can't wait to celebrate everyone's progress at our January and May showcases!

🌟 Congratulations to Ellie - MLStrings June Mighty Musician of the Month! 🌟

Ellie is nearing the end of Suzuki Book 1 in under a year, showing incredible dedication and hard work. Ellie brings a positive attitude, loves her classmates deeply, and is a champion practice-chart maker. She brings light to every class...a truly outstanding student!

Our Park Showcase is Saturday, June 20th at 9:30 AM! If it is too windy or too hot, we will move it to the evening on the same day.

Congrats to Kathleen for being our May Mighty Musician of the Month!

Kathleen practices daily and has made HUGE gains the past month. She has developed increased fluidity of her music, ability to quickly move her left fingers, improved tuning, and a straight bow. She loves using our practice app and shopping in our studio store.

Each lesson Kathleen is eager to learn and works hard to make progress. She is a joy to teach and always has a smile on her face! Keep up the fantastic work, Kathleen!

A big congratulations to Avery and Sage for being our April Mighty Musicians of the Month!

These two have been putting in incredible practice time and are consistently at the top of our Practice Space leaderboard. Their growth this past month has been huge, and it’s been so exciting to watch their progress.

They come to each lesson with positive attitudes, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic. We are so proud of them...what amazing students!

Faye is our March Mighty Musician of the Month! This cellist is going places! Faye sets fantastic goals each week & achieves them through dedicated hard work & focus.

This past month she learned one piece a week & had each one memorized while playing with the metronome (congrats on passing off "Theme From Witches' Dance & Two Grenadiers!).

Faye is a gem of a student & plays with a gorgeous tone. Keep up the amazing work, Faye!
