☀️🍦 Goodbye, Sweet Summer! 🍦☀️

Today we celebrated the end of an unforgettable summer with the sweetest little keepsake. Tiny handprints, bright colors, and so many memories wrapped into one special craft. 🤍

As we welcome a new season, we’re also celebrating exciting new milestones. One of our sweet friends is beginning preschool! While we’ll still get to see her throughout the week, our days together won’t be quite as frequent. It’s such a special milestone, and we’re so excited to cheer her on as she grows and learns.

One of the sweetest parts of running a small daycare is getting to watch these little ones grow through each new chapter while still being a part of their journey. Watching them gain confidence and spread their wings is exactly what these little years are all about. 🥹

Because I have you… I’ll never walk alone. 👣🤍

Some of the sweetest bonds begin long before siblings are old enough to understand just how much they’ll mean to one another.

Watching my sibling duo kiddos is such a beautiful reminder that brothers and sisters grow up with a built in best friend. They learn together, laugh together, comfort one another, and create a lifetime of memories side by side.

This little keepsake is more than painted footprints. It’s a reminder that no matter where life takes them, they’ll always have each other to walk beside. 💜🩵

Today we welcomed the sweetest little addition to The Little Years Daycare! Miss Elena!🩷 At just 4 months old, she’s already filling our hearts with tiny smiles, sweet snuggles, and so much joy.

Imagine being 4 years old…

You think you’re walking into daycare like any other morning…

Then you open the door and realize every balloon, every decoration, every cupcake was waiting just for YOU.🫶🏼

These are the little years. The years they’ll look back on one day. The years filled with wonder, excitement, and feeling deeply loved.

Happy Birthday, sweet girl. Thanks for letting us be part of your special day. 🐭🧁💖

My name is Brittney but my daycare kids call me...🫶🏼

Ba, beh.
Miss Bwittney.
Teachuh.
Mom.
Grandma.

And probably a few more I’m forgetting. 🤣

The sweetest part is that they don’t just know my name. They know I’m their safe place.🥹💛

This week hasn’t exactly gone as planned thanks to one of those yucky stomach bugs making its rounds. As much as we’d all love to avoid illnesses, sometimes they’re simply part of life with little ones.🫶🏼

Moments like these are exactly why I chose to keep The Little Years Daycare intentionally small.

A smaller group allows me to truly know each child, recognize when someone seems a little off, communicate quickly with families, and jump into prevention mode as soon as possible. More individualized care means we can disinfect thoroughly, watch for symptoms, and work together to help minimize the spread as much as possible.🫧

No daycare can promise a germ free environment, but I can promise to do everything in my power to create a healthy, loving, and safe place for every child entrusted to me.🙌🏼

I also have the most incredible daycare parents. Thank you for communicating with me, keeping your little ones home when needed, and working alongside me. It truly takes a village, and I couldn’t ask for a better one. 🤍

One thing people are often surprised to learn is that I’m only closed for four major holidays each year. I know families depend on reliable childcare, and I want to provide consistency while also extending grace when life happens. Sick days, appointments, and unexpected situations are all part of raising little humans, and I want my families to know that we’re a team through it all.

So while this week has included extra hand washing, disinfecting, and laundry, it will also included extra cuddles, giggles, and hearing “Miss Bwittney” about 47 times. 🥹

And honestly… I wouldn’t trade it for the world. 🤍🫶

Our Week Recap at The Little Years Daycare 🌈✨

What a fun-filled week we had! Watching these little personalities grow, learn, explore, and build friendships is truly the best part of my job.💛

Last week was full of…
🌸 Sweet friendships and big hugs

🍿 A fun movie and popcorn day
🐞 Nature adventures and discovering little ladybugs
🐴 A visit with our horse friend to feed her apples
🌈 Chalk art, outdoor play, and sunshine

Every day is filled with little moments that help build confidence, kindness, creativity, and lifelong memories. Watching these sweet kiddos laugh, learn, and grow together reminds me exactly why I love what I do.🫶🏼

❤️Holiday & Tuition Reminder💙

I wanted to share a quick reminder about how holidays and tuition work here at The Little Years Daycare!

The daycare is closed for the following major holidays:
🇺🇸 Independence Day (July 4th)
🦃 Thanksgiving Day
🎄 Christmas Day
✨ New Year’s Day

Since Independence Day falls on a Saturday this year, the daycare will remain OPEN on Friday, July 3rd, and operate during normal business hours. If your child is regularly scheduled that day, I’d love to have them here!

For all other holidays, if your child is scheduled to attend, they are always more than welcome to come. Even if you have the day off from work, you may want a few hours to run errands, catch up around the house, enjoy some self-care, or simply take a well-deserved break. Your child’s spot is always available during their regularly scheduled daycare hours.

Weekly tuition reserves your child’s dedicated spot in my daycare, so tuition remains the same regardless of holidays, family vacations, sick days, or personal days. This allows me to provide reliable, consistent care for every family while ensuring your child’s space is always available through the year.

If I were to close for every federal holiday, school break, teacher workday, or other days many employers have off, I wouldn’t be able to provide the dependable care that families rely on. Keeping a consistent schedule allows me to be here when you need care most.🫶🏼
