Welcome back, students!

We are so excited to kick off the new school year with positive, uplifting energy! As we get ready for school on Monday, please review four important updates:

All Classes in Main Building: All Emerson teachers and classes are now located in the main high school building. Keep an eye out for navigation maps placed around the school.

Assigned Lockers: Every student has been assigned a locker this year. Log in to Infinite Campus to check your locker assignment.

Cell Phone Expectations: No cell phones from 8:05 AM to 3:15 PM. Phones must be kept in backpacks or lockers—not in pockets. Phones may be checked into the main office if needed.

Schedule Adjustment: Homeroom has been removed to give more time back to general classes, and passing periods are now 4 minutes. Look out for support opportunities on our altered Wednesday schedule.

So thankful for Bruce Dagel and that he found time in his busy schedule to bring back The Energy Bus workshop for us. HS staff spent the afternoon making sure we are ready to start the school year on a positive note.

All classes- notebook, folder, pens/pencils, notecards, kleenex, school issued chromebook
Music theory- 3 ring binder & pocket folder
Science classes- 2 composition notebooks, disposable tape dispenser, glue stick, colored pencils
Intro to art- 10 paintbrushes & 1 package of clorox wipes
Ceramics & Sculpture- 1 plastic container & a set of clay tools
Lit lab- Highlighter, spiral notebook
Algebra I- scientific calculator (TI-30X II S)
All other math classes- 3 ring binder, checking pens, & scientific calculator
Band/Choir- instrutment supplies, black shoes, pants and shirt
