Some of you messaged me about G***K and how they changed to the V model. Well for the first time in a very long time I am excited about something coming out of G***k. I am going to order a Gen 6 G17 and will give you my honest thoughts on it. They changed a few things on the Gen 6 I normally do to my G***ks to make them more to my shooting style.

You are going out shopping for all your Black Friday sales.

4) Taking your kids-Grandkids?? Snap a picture of them with what they are wearing RIGHT NOW!
5)Are you carrying your defensive pistol and extra magazines/ Speed loaders? DO NOT CARRY IN YOUR PURSE!
6)Did you know all stores at the mall/Strip mall have back exits for loading freight that goes outside?
7)Get your face out of your stupid phone! Pay attention to your surroundings.
The reason I bring these up, years ago at the Clackamas Town Center mall, a deranged POS stole a firearm and murdered innocents. People panicked, froze and tried run. If some monster starts shooting, grab your kids/ grandkids and run into a store, run to the back and get out of the mall! GET YOUR FAMILY TO SAFTEY! The crap you just bought is not worth your life! RUN !

To the people at our class on Nov 1st, you got to meet the great Tony Aiello, Jr. - Civil Attorney. I am proud to call him a friend and we at Oregon Trail Fi****ms training support him. Here some great information about HB234. I know things are tight for many people, but a donation of even $5.00 will help.

This is part of what SB 243 does. It allows but does not require localities to ban concealed carry in government buildings.

But if they ban concealed AND open carry… aren’t they banning all manners of carry? Now, it becomes a MERE possession ban and not a manner of possession ban.

If we win on Measure 114, we could beat this aspect of SB 243.

Arnold v. Kotek (our Measure 114 case) will decide the future of our OREGON STATE CONSTITUTION’S right to bear arms. Article I, sec. 27.n

Here is the latest on new laws.

🚫 ICYMI: A Gun Safety Ordinance relating to MultCo facilities and buildings has been updated. An old exception that used to allow people to carry a concealed weapon if they are licensed to do so into certain County buildings has been removed.

The new ordinance requires signs in County buildings declaring concealed guns are not allowed and that violations may lead to someone’s exclusion from County buildings. Implementation of the ordinance begins this week.

(Other exceptions to the larger County gun safety ordinance still stand, including for people authorized by the Multnomah County Sheriff or other government employees authorized or required to carry fi****ms, as well as security guards employed at a financial institution insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.)

We had a fantastic time in class Saturday. We were honored to have Tony Aiello, Jr. - Civil Attorney and his amazing wife there. We are making a donation to help the fight against Measure 114 and support Tony in his battle on Thursdays at the Oregon Supreme Court to defend our civil rights.
We also had the Fitz Lee from US Lawshield there signing up students with this outstanding program. My family has been US Lawshield members for about 10 years, We invite them out to help our students get legal protection.
Thank you all that showed up, we are taking the holidays off for public classes and next scheduled public class will be in February 2026.
