Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran School Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran School provides quality Christian education for preschool- 8th grade. Grades 4-5 become more independent learners.

Kindergarten program focuses on the whole child, helping children to acclimate to the school environment and develop a positive self-concept while growing spiritually, emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically. Grades 1-3 help students to develop a strong foundation in language arts, math skills, science and social studies. Our curriculum includes daily religion classes as well as the integration of Christian principles in all subjects. Grade 5 is the beginning of our middle school schedule, with students based in a homeroom but moving to different classes with different teachers. Grades 6-8 are middle school classes with homerooms and varying teachers and classrooms. Students continue to build on their rich foundation in religion, language arts, math, science and social studies, as well as taking computer classes, art and music. TLO prepares students for high school with rigorous academic training, both in public and private schools.

Only a week into October and we've already packed in a lot of fun things! We had our first school fundraiser and the start of Book Month with a dress-up day, hammock reading, and a story walk. We also had two field trips and PS-2nd grade got a visit from the Eagan Fire Department! Thanks to all the staff and volunteers who make such fun activities run smoothly and thanks to the firefighters who were so patient with our students!

Thanks to all the grandparents and VIP guests who came last week and supported our students and school. The kids had a lot of fun and we think the grandparents did too - some of the performances got big laughs. 😄 ❤

This week we looked at TLO Lutheran School's 5 Core Values. Where do these lead us? To our mission: Equipping children for life-long learning and service by nurturing hearts and minds in Christ.

Each value is important in our mission of equipping children for life, and life in Christ. As we celebrate the 4th of July today and our nation's birth and think on the freedoms it offers, we thank God for the blessings he has given to TLO to be able to continue to our mission.

Last but not least is our Core Value: Relational. At Trinity Lone Oak we mirror Jesus' love for us in affirming, loving relationships toward others. Every person has full value in Christ, and we seek to lift each other up, strengthen students and their families, and care for one another as Christ genuinely loves and cares for us.

Conflict resolution units, chapel buddies, family group activities, and prayer partners are just some of the ways we use to help kids build relationships and relational skills. We are so blessed to have an amazing community of students, parents, families, staff, and church members here at TLO. Thanks be to God!

Disciple-developing is another of TLO Lutheran School's Core Values. What does this mean? We gladly hear God's Word, glorify God the Father, and boldly make known Jesus' love and forgiveness. TLO is a place to grow in faith and Christian discipleship through the Holy Spirit.

A disciple doesn't just believe, but follows Jesus in the ways he taught us. We show our faith to others by the way we live and the things we do and say. 🙏
