Soon August will be over. We had more very hot and humid days than ever before.

Ms Amy took my friends camping. They went on a bear hunt, many bear activities, a science experiment, games and fun.
We had to say good bye to Ms Joy our Music teacher due to some health issues. We are very sad and will miss her tremendously.
Ms Stacey our storyteller will be back in September.

We end July with monster trucks.
One of our littles is celebrating his golden birthday on August 4th. I’ll be on vacation so we celebrated this week doing many fun activities.

Sorry if you have seen this post already.
Summer is flying by, but we still have a lot of fun things to do.
The weather has been hot, humid and bad air quality but we’re hopeful for August to be better.
Through hands-on activities, art, music, and playing with friends, the children continue building important early learning skills and using their imagination.
Ms Amy brought us to the Zoo. They heard fun stories played games, and enjoyed making crafts. She has introduced Yoga to the class time encouraging them to feel stronger, flexible, focused and cheerful.
Ms Joy brought more incredible instruments to try, parachute fun and puppets.
Reid joined in for classes and did great.
The twins are growing bigger and bigger everyday and are developing the cutest personalities. 🥰
Looking forward to August and nicer weather. We want to bring out the water slide and our new huge splash pad!

Tali and Kailey wanted a lemonade stand. After planning and putting it together, now they wait for the customers. 🥰
Refreshing lemonade and crumble cookies served with great service and a smile.
The first customers were the twins, Wednesday, Orin, Teddy Tommy and Connor
And an Amazon delivery guy(bless his heart)

Playschool had a wonderful busy week celebrating our 250 years of America.
Ms Amy did fireworks in a jar experiment learning how water and oil do not mix. They played Boom, Crash Firework game, followed by creating fireworks with paint and a popsicle stick.
Ms Joy had them marching to the beat with adorable ribbon wands that they helped construct.
We did rice exploration by mixing red white and blue with our new rice dispenser in the sensory table.
We had fun and spent a lot of time with STEM engineering bridges using cups and popsicle sticks. They than balanced as many pieces of fruit and stars as they could on their finished product.
The toddlers were enhancing fine motor skills by working the muscles in their hands and fingers carefully pushing pipe cleaners in a colander.
The babies engaged in a stimulating sensory activity using frozen peas.
Our Easel was perfect for creating balloon paint masterpieces out of blue and red paint and adding sparkly stars to complete their masterpieces.
The kids engaged in Dramatic Play by pretending to prepare and distribute lunch to their friends from a food truck.
Finally they built S’mores for snack.

I hope all of you dads have a great Father’s Day weekend.
The kids worked hard on the gifts. It was a 3 day process!🙂
Ms Amy has taken our group to the ocean this month. They have been learning all about sea creatures with stories, games, crafts, and a science experiment.
We welcomed Oliver to classes this week. He did pretty good.
Ms Joy brought more instruments to share and dancing with scarves. She makes music so enjoyable.
We’ve been doing a lot of Art, practicing our name, shapes, numbers and playing outside.
So proud of Orin with all his accomplishments these last few weeks. 🥰
Xaden and Cass ( our twins) are doing great growing, moving and developing cute personalities. The kids all adore them!

Hello Summer!
We kicked off our off school summer vacation with bubbles, bounce house, back yard fun, picnic lunch, painting sticks, and make our own sundaes.
Welcome our new little friends Cass and Xaden. They are very loved by all.
Ms. Amy talked about gravity this week having the kids make straw launchers. They enjoyed playing with these.
Ms. Joy brought fun instruments for Music. The weather has been great!

Baking, Art, shapes and name practice with Ms Cindy 🍪🎨stomping dinosaurs 🦖, science experiment on air pressure and the letter Yy and the color yellow with Ms. Amy, ice cream and stories with Ms. Stacey🍦music with Ms. Joy 🎼 building social skills and playing inside and out. This is some of our last couple of weeks at Playschool.
