It’s the last chance to apply for the Eagan Art House Winter Art Sale! The application closes Aug. 24. Each November, artists bring their creative makings to sell at Eagan Community Center. All products must be locally made by the seller. No AI or buy/sell items will be allowed. Accepted mediums include, but are not limited to: pottery, painting, jewelry, glass, wood, fiber, leather goods, and multimedia.

Take a walk into the Art House with us, except our social media person is on vacation. We have a nice entryway that keeps the heat and A/C inside where it belongs. Our rotating exhibit changes four times a year and features various artists! We have lots of comfortable seating options in our lobby. Check it out! The pottery pickup shelves are always busy and full of new things!

Looking for an opportunity for homeschool kids to learn art? Check out one of our homeschool art classes available this fall! Designed specifically for homeschool kids, these daytime classes offer a low-stress social environment and are perfect for absolute beginners as well as advanced students. Classes are available for both youth age 6-11 and teens age 11-16.
Available homeschool classes include Muddy Buddies: Homeschool, Homeschool Art Exploration, Young Potters: Homeschool, and Homeschool Sketching Club.

In Beginning Pottery: Intro to Wheel Throwing, you will be introduced to fundamental techniques for wheel throwing, as well as an introduction to the Eagan Art House ceramic facility glazing and the ceramic firing schedule. By the end of the class, you’ll learn the basic steps of pottery and a deeper appreciation for this ancient craft. This class is designed for complete beginners.

Students in a recent Clay Together class created unique ceramic bird houses with incredibly fun and unique results. What color bird house would you create if you took this class?
Our Clay Together classes are designed to be collaborative classes, often pairs of adults and children working together. With this being one of the few classes we offer available to kids as young as 5, it is a fun and memorable experience for the whole family!
