If you know Ma Craw, you already know of her awesomeness factor. :-) Here are some things that make us proud of Mom, jazzed to be around her, & extremely grateful to have her as our mom! Judi Crawford, aka "Ma Craw":
★grew up on a farm in central Iowa with 2 younger sisters
★is an enormous music fan, particularly fond of the Grateful Dead & Phish
★was the valedictorian of her class at Grinnell Hi
gh School
★forms remarkable bonds with animals, especially cats & dogs
★loves to laugh
★gardens like crazy (her favorite flowers are irises & daffodils)
★majored in French at U of Northern Iowa
★adores Paris & San Francisco
★loves birds & dragonflies
★is a life-long runner (ran her 3rd marathon just before the diagnosis)
★took up skiing at the age of 39 & camping/backpacking at 50
★loves clouds
★sometimes needs to feel the wind on her face
★used to see epic Chicago folk music with Pa Craw in the early '70s
★believes in love, tolerance, & peace
