It all began with tiny caterpillars… and a classroom full of wonder 🐛🦋

Our children followed the butterfly life cycle step by step by watching the caterpillars grow, form their chrysalis, and eventually transform into beautiful butterflies. This hands‑on experience helped them explore nature, growth, and change while building so much curiosity and excitement along the way.

To celebrate the end of the project, our little learners gathered to set the butterflies free. Watching them rise into the air was a breathtaking reminder of transformation; both theirs and ours. It was a moment filled with joy, wonder, and a sweet lesson about patience, growth, and the magic of nature. 🦋💚

🚒 A Special Visit from Our Local Fire Department 🚒

We are so grateful for the incredible tour you gave our preschoolers this week. Seeing the fire truck up close, meeting real firefighters, and learning about fire safety made for such an unforgettable experience.

Our little learners explored the fire truck, learned important safety tips, and asked so many curious questions. Hearing the siren was definitely one of the biggest highlights from this visit.

Thank you, Eagan Fire Department and our amazing firefighters for taking the time to visit us, for keeping our community safe, and for making learning so much fun. What a memorable experience for everyone!

Last week’s learning was all about our five senses, and our little friends explored them in the most hands‑on way! Here are a few sweet moments from their smell and taste discoveries 😍

They tasted foods that were spicy, salty, sour, sweet, and bitter and their reactions were absolutely priceless.
They also explored different scents using jars filled with vinegar, cinnamon, garlic, vanilla, orange peel, lavender, coffee beans, and peppermint!

Earth Day should be every day 🌍💚

Last week, we celebrated our beautiful planet and the important role we all play in caring for it. Our little learners discovered that even the smallest hands can make a big difference.

This past week, our preschool classroom focused on the human body and how it supports us every day.

From naming body parts to discovering what each one helps us do, our little friends were busy exploring, asking questions, and sharing ideas. They even got to listen to heartbeats, their own and their friends’ which was such a magical moment for them.

We wrapped up the week talking about how to keep our bodies healthy and happy. Such an interesting and hands‑on week of learning ❤️🩺
