Our hallways are full and the energy is back—welcome to the new school year!
Yesterday, our students returned for orientation, filling the building with new faces, joyful reconnections, and fresh anticipation for the year ahead. Alongside information and inspiration from faculty (and celebrating the morning with donuts!), we gathered to hear inspiring opening remarks from our Head of School, Mr. Stauble:
"A sense of wonder, the habitual vision of greatness, and intellectual humility. These are just three of the habits of mind that we want you to grow into. These are characteristics that we expect from Trinity students, and it’s one of the ways we know that makes Trinity excellent.
You need to know that you aren’t alone in this great endeavor. This is a community of learners. Trust that your classmates are doing hard things alongside you. Also know that your teachers, more than anything, want to see you succeed. Success here is not perfection. Success is a student who shows that they have overcome a challenge. They have wrestled with a difficult idea in homework. They have gone down the wrong path and found their way back through conversations in class. To be stewards of His creation, to be in His image is to move from one challenge to another.
You all have the potential for greatness, and I can’t wait to see you fulfill that potential with excellence. Welcome to the new school year!"
