On Tuesday, February 5th, our chapter had 23 members attend the district conference at the Otero Junior College campus in La Junta, CO. At the end of the day, we had 18 members qualify for the state conference!

'Tis the season! ❄️🌲 The Eads FBLA chapter was able to help the businesses around town participate in the Christmas spirit!

Our FBLA March of Dimes fundraiser was definitely a success! The decorated pumpkins were absolutely great and fun to look at! 1st place was 2nd grade with a total of $80.45. 2nd place was 3rd grade with a total of $41.67. 3rd place was 5th grade with a total of $33.01. The top three placers are being awarded prizes by the FBLA chapter! The younger Pre-K group totaled $18.48, while the older Pre-K group totaled $30.45. Kindergarten ended up with $29.43. 1st grade finished with $30.64. 4th grade ended up with a total of $13.46. Altogether, the fundraiser raised $277.59!! Thank you to all who helped make this possible!

Yesterday, October 20th, the chapter took a trip to Pueblo, CO for a fun trip! We started at Epic Entertainment where the chapter participated in laser tag, put-put golf, and machine pitch batting. After that, the chapter was able to eat together at Texas Roadhouse where we celebrated Colby Stoker's birthday! To finish up the day, the chapter spent some time at the mall having fun. Overall, it was a great day full of chapter bonding!

Welcome back to school! Eads FBLA is excited to have so many returning members and new members in our chapter. For yearly dues, returning members are being asked to pay 15 dollars to help cover yearly expenses, while new members are being asked to pay 45 dollars to not only cover yearly expenses but their own, personal polos, as well. All payments are due September 4th. Thank you!

Hadlie Rittgers, Kaylee Wilson, and Emily Gyurman just got back from competing among 13,000 other FBLA members in Baltimore, MD. In addition to competing in their American Enterprise project after qualifying from the state conference back in April, they attended workshops, watched finalists from several events to learn from them, explored the Inner Harbor area of Baltimore, and took a day trip to Washington, DC. The NLC is a great educational experience!
