High School located in Dyersville, Iowa, and is a member of the Archdiocese of Dubuque. The formation of Beckman was a result of five area parishes consolidating their parish high schools. The first graduating class was in 1967 with 121 students. Beckman Catholic offers a Christ-centered education which integrates the Catholic teachings throughout the entire curriculum. Theology is taught at all grade levels with areas of study including the Old & New Testament, Apologetics, morals, vocations and the sacraments. Prayer is broadcast over the P.A. system at the beginning of each class period. There is a minimum of 12 service hours required for each student annually. Beckman offers full academic curriculum including Advance Placement courses and Post Secondary Enrollment Options, which allow students to receive college credit. A full range of extracurricular activities, both athletic and non-athletic, are offered at Beckman Catholic, as well as a fine-arts program.
