We're in the final days to order mums from P.I.E. They're only $10 each, and they are guaranteed to make your home look more autumnal. You can drop a form off in the office with your payment or order online using the link below. Orders are due Sept. 9, and mum pick-up is on Sept. 16 in the south parking lot from 2 - 5 PM.

Due to tomorrow’s weather forecast of potential rain and extreme heat, we are choosing to postpone our freshman retreat until Friday, September 18.
Illiana strives to be a community, and we want this retreat to be an opportunity to build relationships, build confidence, build character, and have fun. The weather tomorrow would make it difficult to do that well. We believe it would be safer and better overall to wait until cooler temperatures. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Clubs are in full swing already. Every Tuesday and Thursday, students enjoy a 20-minute club period where they can play games or do something creative and relaxing while spending time with friends. It's a great way to break up the day/week.

ALERT: The Wiffle Ball game scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed due to expected extreme temperatures. The game is now scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11 at 6 PM.

Mr. Hillegonds took his Biology students outside for a field study day. They observed and took pictures of plants, bugs, and animals in and around the school ponds. They will then scientifically identify the subjects they photographed. There is extra credit on the line for the student who takes a picture of the most interesting thing. A hot, but fun day of learning.

Be sure to join us Friday night for the annual Staff vs. Students Wiffle Ball Challenge. It's a fun night of faculty vs. student competition, with all proceeds benefiting Illiana Missions. There are plenty of opportunities to up your donation by using the "Menu of Mischief". If you donate extra money, you can change the outcome of the game. For $50, you can purchase an at-bat, or for $100, you can buy a home run. There are many options to influence the game. See you Friday night!
