Good morning and Happy Monday! I know I have been posting a lot lately but I've been inspired and have lots to share with you all. I was talking to about how I wish I had good and understanding guidance as a premed. In terms of keeping my grades up and cracking tough exams, I had to figure it out by myself and it felt so isolating. I don't want any of you to feel that way, so let's keep this post party going 🤩.

You guys can be pretty quiet and shy sometimes in comment section so feel free to start engaging. I want to create a community long term that you can come to to ease any frustrations or confusion you may have about getting the grades needed for professional school. While there are exceptions, for most people it can be very hard to overcome a low GPA. Unfortunately, admissions committees don't want to hear about it. This is the cold and brutal truth when applying to professional school. I know from personal experience! Don't let yourself become one of those people with inexusable GPAs!! Reach out to me at any point. I would be delighted to here from you. If you don't know where to start DM me "HELP!" and we can get started from there.

On to the post material! Happy reading and enjoy your morning coffee, study hackers!! ☕️

My favorite Starbucks productivity hack: ordering green/herbal tea instead of coffee. That way I get my drink right away instead of waiting and getting disrupted while I work/study during my 40 minute blocks.

Hey guys 👋 I have literally done everything in my power to keep myself motivated over the past few weeks and today I found myself in a mini slump. The weather is gloomy and foggy. I have my first meeting in the evening with my advisor to discuss my residency application (my advisor seems great, my application - not so much!) which I am nervous about. 😓 Anyway, I don't exactly feel charged up to study and I have exhausted all the procrastination avoidance techniques in my arsenal. On my drive to Starbucks, something finally clicked. I realized that if I can just envision myself getting into residency and doing well on my exam then everything would be worth it and maybe my life would have an element of security and normalcy that I've missed over the past few years.

In short, always start with your end goal in mind when you do not want to do something. For some people that is medical fellowship, a college acceptance letter, a business that comes into fruition and for others that means getting married and having kids. Whatever it is that you want, always visualize yourself achieving that goal. That makes the boring, everyday mundane tasks a little easier to get through. Thanks as always for reading and don't forget to subscribe to my email list for more tips to obtain more success in your life! Thanks loves ❤
