Hillside Academy is a private Christian school that builds future innovators through a project-based, STEAM (STEM +Arts) learning approach to education. We have classes available for preschool through 8th grade. We serve Duvall and the surrounding communities of Carnation, Monroe, Woodinville, Redmond and Fall City. Our preschool, elementary and middle school offers a variety of specialized progra

Saturdays are for getting outside and having fun! Today, Hillside attended the Woodinville Farmers Market at their awesome Kids Booth. We shared some coloring sheets and healthy recipes that kiddos can make at home with their delicious farmers market finds. Goodbyes are always the hardest! Yesterday, Hillside celebrated Heidi Bournique, our Accounting Manager, as she starts a new journey into retirement. 💙💚

Ms. Heidi has been a longtime welcoming presence at our school, first starting as Office Manager and Registrar in 2016 before transitioning into her accounting role. Her kindness, generosity, and true passion for Hillside have shone bright for the past 10 years, and our community is incredibly blessed to call her family! Thank you, Heidi, for all that you've done, from handling our school finances to keeping our operations up and running.

While Heidi retires to eastern Washington to spend more time with family, she'll be around in years to come as an occasional substitute and volunteer! Join us in wishing her the best in this new chapter. 🫶🏼

Out with the good, and...in with the EVEN BETTER! As our admin staff is already prepping for the next school year, one of our projects was updating our student photo board that lives in our teacher's lounge and travels around with us. We gave it a makeover with some 2025-26 pictures! 💙💚

We'd like to introduce you to our two new mascots, Hope and Archie the Wildcats! All 5 of our core classes brainstormed names, our teachers picked the top 3 finalists, and then the final winners were once again left up to the Hillside student body. Hope was a name coined by Ms. Smith's 2/3 class, while Ms. Susan's middle school class introduced Archie as a longtime favorite. 💙💚

Starting this summer and going into the 2026-27 school year, look out for our furry friends around the Hillside campus and at our events! Welcome to the pack, Hope and Archie 🐾

A little rain (or even a lot) never stops our Hillside pride! Yesterday, we had so much fun at the Duvall Days Festival in the grand parade and our nonprofit booth. Even in the midst of gray, we thank our Hillside families, staff, and the everyone who showed up for the events. Our 2026 theme of "why we love Hillside" lives on! 🫶🏼🌥️
