Cherry Valley Random Acts of Kindness Club and CV Student Council would like to introduce Kindness Week, February 10-13!

Here is what the week has in store:

❤️Manners Monday- use your “please”, “thank you”, and “you’re welcome” to a friend, classmate, CV teacher or staff member.🙏🏼☺️

🧡Together Tuesday- find a new friend and sit together at lunch, play together at recess or read/play together in class.👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏻👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏼

💛Welcome Wednesday- the answer is YES! Welcome a new friend into a recess game, reading circle, lunch table or class game. If they ask to play, welcome them with open arms!🧍🏼🧍🏽‍♀️

💚Thoughtful Thursday- Spread kindness with a compliment, make a homemade card for a friend or staff member, pass out Valentines or simply smile and say “Hello”.😁

💙During library times, all students will be linking kind acts or sayings on paper strips to create a school Kindness Chain. It will then stretch the length of the school and be displayed for all to enjoy

Tomorrow is the last day to buy Jingle Grams! This is an opportunity for all children to send a gram to anyone in the school while raising money to fund T-shirts, kindness coins and certificates, and future random acts of kindness! Come find us under cover during lunch recess tomorrow (December 11th) to help spread kindness throughout our school. Jingle Grams are .50 cents each or 3 for a $1.00. Everyone is sure to receive a Jingle Gram. Pass it on!
