to National Custodian Appreciation Day, celebrated on October 2nd!

We are fortunate to boast that our Cardinal Custodians are kind, caring, and incredibly hardworking. Mr. Joshua, Ms. Linda, and Ms. Richelle keep our campus maintained, clean, and do so with a smile. 🧽🧹

Please join us in expressing our gratitude for all the ways they make our school shine! 🙌

Still thinking about this delicious midweek pick-me-up courtesy of The Local Lemon La, who was on site yesterday to serve up lemonade for faculty and staff!

On this Thursday, we are thankful for local businesses who show our team some love and help to brighten their day! 😊🍋

“A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life” - John Wooden

At JMS, we are fortunate to have a coaching staff who work not only to develop skills on the court or field, but also those needed to achieve success in the game of life.

Thank you coaches, for making a difference for our Cardinals!

❤️ Coach Cassidy
🖤 Mrs. Doucet
❤️ Mrs. Hollier
🖤 Coach Spurgeon

Today, we celebrate the coaches who help students become more than champions. Across LPSS, coaches lead in athletics, academics, instruction, the arts, extracurriculars, and beyond. Through every practice, performance, class activity, and competition, they help students develop the character and confidence to succeed well beyond the moment.

On National Coaches Day, we thank every LPSS coach who invests their time and heart into our students. You are helping build confident competitors, strong leaders, and good citizens.

It’s National Instructional Coaches Day and we would be absolutely lost without this dynamic duo!

As Instructional Leaders, Mrs. Heather Foster and Mrs. Ivy Wiltz provide endless amounts of support and help empower our JMS faculty and staff to improve student outcomes.

From analyzing data, providing curriculum resources, and organizing and facilitating testing, to stepping up to help however needed throughout each day, these ladies build us up in every way!

Thank you Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Wiltz for all that you do for our school! We are beyond grateful today and every day to have them on our team❤️🖤

Curiosity Mode: ON 🤔✅

Our sixth grade students enjoyed a field trip to the Heymann Center earlier today where they witnessed chemist, science entertainer, professor, and author Kate the Chemist bring science to life!

Two of our Cardinals were even selected to go on stage and assist Kate with an experiment, adding to the fun of this unique experience.

An they won’t soon forget, we can’t wait to see where their curiosity takes them next!
