Dementia Capable CARES is honored to welcome Carla Payne, MA, CMC as our new President!
Carla brings more than 22 years of experience serving older adults, individuals living with dementia, and their care partners. As the owner of Aging Care Matters, she has dedicated her career to helping families navigate the aging journey with compassion, expertise, and dignity. Her leadership has expanded services that provide meaningful engagement, caregiver respite, and person-centered dementia support throughout North Carolina's Triangle region.
Carla's passion for collaboration, education, and empowering communities aligns perfectly with the mission of Dementia Capable CARES. We are excited for the vision, experience, and heart she brings as we continue working together to build more dementia-capable communities across North Carolina.
