🌿 **ES** | Concluimos nuestro campamento de verano de 2026, tres semanas de aprendizaje, exploración, risas y amistades. Uno de nuestros proyectos favoritos era durante la última semana del campamento en The Trees, donde los niños exploraron el entorno natural junto al río Eno. El grupo de niños de 4 a 6 años exploró la pregunta: ¿Dónde viven los animales en el bosque?. Realizaron caminatas por el bosque y a lo largo del arroyo, descubriendo insectos bajo piedras y hojas, y observando toda la vida silvestre a su alrededor. Los niños construyeron hogares para los insectos utilizando materiales que encontraron durante sus recorridos. Por supuesto, el diseño de las casas incluía puertas, ventanas y varias plantas, ya que las hormigas las necesitan. Inesperadamente, una babosa se convirtió en la primera inquilina de este vecindario. Fue una manera maravillosa de cerrar el verano: con curiosidad, creatividad y la oportunidad para que los niños aprendieran del mundo que los rodea. ¡Nos vemos el próximo verano!�
🌿 **EN** | We wrapped up our 2026 Summer Camp, three weeks of learning, exploring, laughs and friendships. One of our favorite projects was in the last week of summer camp at The Trees where the children explored the outdoors by the Eno River. The 4–6-year-old class explored the question ¿Dónde viven los animales en el bosque? (Where do animals live in the forest?). They went on hikes through the woods and along the creek, discovering insects under rocks and leaves and observing all the wildlife around them. The children built homes for the insects, using materials they found during their hikes. Of course, the design of the homes included doors, windows and multiple stories, because ants need them. Unexpectedly, a slug became the first guest of this neighborhood. It was a wonderful way to end our summer, with curiosity, creativity, and the chance for children to learn from the world around them. See you next summer!
