North Carolina families, join us for a very special weekend at Morehead! As usual, we’ll be open Friday to Sunday for planetarium shows, exhibits, and more.

This Saturday, April 6, we’ll host the UNC Science Expo, one of the state’s largest celebrations of science. In honor of Morehead’s 75th anniversary, this year will bring even more excitement, including 100+ booths, a food truck rodeo, stage performances, prizes, and more. The Expo is free and open to the public, tickets to our planetarium shows can be purchased on our website. See you this weekend!

In honor of Morehead’s 75th anniversary, and as a signature event of the North Carolina Science Festival, the UNC Science Expo will feature over 100 booths, hands-on activities, games, science demonstrations, food trucks, and lab tours.

This year, the celebration is going to be even bigger and better, including discounts from Franklin St. businesses, stage performances, prizes, and more.
