Today was our May Crowning celebration where we honor that Mary, Mother of God, is the Queen of Heaven and Earth. 🌷🦅

This week at ICS we celebrated Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage (AANHPI) Month. The AANHPI committee and some of our student Eagles practiced and performed a wonderful show this morning for our school. It was fantastic and so much fun for our ICS community to watch.

Congratulations to our Band and Choir students who participated in the Kings Dominion Festival of Music this past Saturday. Over 110 students performed and ALL FOUR of the performing groups (Beginning Band, MS Band, Jazz Band, and 3rd-8th Grade Choir) received a Superior rating, which is the highest award given at the Festival. Great job, Eagles! 🦅

Our Eagles had a BLAST at Field Day this year. THANK YOU to our volunteers, from parents to grandparents to Knights of Columbus, who joined us and made this Field Day possible. 🦅

What a wonderful world of Music! Our 3rd-5th grade Eagles put music performance last week in the Emily K Center. We are so proud! 🦅🎤🎼🪘

This week, one of our amazing Eagles got to be the Resource Officer for the day today! It was such a blast watching him in action - he did an awesome job!🦅

This week, our PreK-5th grade Eagles celebrated Liturgy of the Light, rejoicing in the hope of the Easter season.

Today was our Middle School Career Day where our Eagles had the fantastic opportunity to participate in an exciting and informative Career Day during which they explored their interests and future aspirations. Thank you to Mrs. Eason for organizing such an amazing event and to all our wonderful parents who volunteered their time this morning! 🦅

Our Eagles had a blast during their first Irish Dance Club class! They learned so many cool skills and had the best time. 🦅

Good Friday is a significant day that serves as a reminder of the love that the Lord has for us. It is a time to reflect on our faith and to spend quality time with our loved ones. May your Good Friday be filled with divine blessings as you celebrate this holy day with your family.

In what has become an annual Holy Week tradition for many years at Immaculata, the middle school students performed a moving depiction of the Stations of the Cross in the Immaculate Conception Church for school families and parishioners today. As in years past, many of us in the audience were moved to tears as our students led us to reflect upon the sacrifice Jesus made for all of us. We are grateful to the students and the middle school team for making this beautiful presentation possible, and we’d like to specifically thank our amazing music teacher Ann Smith, along with the amazing middle school teachers Cindy Rains and Jennifer Stutz, who guided the students during many weeks of preparation for today. We are proud of our Middle School students and teachers for their dedication to this beautiful symbolic performance.

Our Eagles had a wonderful time during their Easter egg hunts today. They were all eagerly searching for eggs, laughing with classmates and cheering as they found them. 🦅
