Duke University and Stanford University launched the Rubenstein-Bing Student-Athlete Civic Engagement (ACE) Program in Spring 2015 to provide student-athletes with opportunities for immersive civic engagement experiences. Recognizing the challenge for student-athletes to fully participate in many of the offered campus programs, Duke and Stanford met this need together for eight year

It’s the final week of ! See what the team has been up to as they complete their last days of the program:

1-5: Hiked through the Kirstenboch Gardens and took the tram up to the top of Table Mountain for a beautiful view of Cape Town.

6-8: Continued supporting with meal packing and food distribution in preparation for the Mandela Day Celebration tomorrow on July 18!

9-16: Spent their final project days working with the children they’ve supported at and and said their goodbyes.

17: Enjoyed a night of post-project fun with karaoke at Mojo Market!
