Wildflower Cottage for Children A full-time, Reggio-inspired, nature-based, early learning program for 1-5 year old children.

Wildflower Cottage for Children is a childcare program in Durham, NC. Our mission is to provide a home-like environment that nurtures the minds and spirits of young children. The hallmarks of our program:

* Licensed, Eco-Healthy Childcare certified, Durham Living Wage certified program
* Nature-based curriculum.
* A cozy, intimate setting for children and families: all of the benefits of center-based care, but the individualized attention found in family child care homes.
* Reggio-inspired curriculum: a unique approach that sees children in relation to their peers, family, and community while supporting learning through doing, exploring, and creating.
* Natural, rich play materials: wood, cotton, wool, and collections of natural items that connect the program to the outside environment.
