The NCCU Student Nutrition Association is a student led group focused on nutrition and wellness of the NCCU and surrounding community. The organization offers professional development to dietetics students and health-related education to the community.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Tahira "Abi" Hyman
We would like to highlight the success of a former undergraduate student, Tahira Hyman. Abi, as many of you know her, completed her time with us this past summer and was awarded Valedictorian Honors during the Fall Commencement exercises by maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA!! Abi is the first student in over a decade to secure this honor- a testament to her hard work.
Congrats Abi on this historic accomplishment!

Happy MLK day from the SNA leadership team! In MLK’s Nobel Prize speech, he spoke to the importance of every person having access to basic foods. Did you know that the NCCU Campus Pantry is available to all members of NCCU, providing nutritional support for food insecure individuals? Internships begin in January and go through the end of the semester.
