Beta Pi Sigma was established in Durham NC on April 13, 1951 by Soror Annie Neville, Northeast Region Soror Lucille B. Davis & Rth V.

Beta Pi Sigma was established in Durham, NC on April 13, 1951 by Soror Annie Nevile, Northeast Regional Syntaktes. Whitworth assisted in the organization of the chapter. The formal ceremony was held in the home of Soror Narviar Coward and was followed by dinner which was attended by husbands, boyfriends, and other greeks.
