Information on this site brought to you by University of New Hampshire students enrolled in a brand new experiential based 2 semester course called the Food Production Field Experience SAFS 679 and 680. Stay tuned for gardening tips, diet and nutrition information, local food events, sustainability events and much more. Through a collaborative relationship between UNH Dining Services and the Colle
ge of Life Sciences and Agriculture, students produce healthy, local food for use in the UNH Dairy Bar and other Dining facilities. In doing so they learn sustainable agriculture techniques firsthand along with critical skills such as marketing, managing a CSA, and social media promotion. This course is one of many exciting new courses now being offered in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems at UNH. Funding from UNH Dining Service, the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture, the New Hampshire Agriculture Experiment Station, and the Tuttle Foundation made this project come to life.
