Well, the page has been a little quiet for teacher appreciation week. We’ve been serving treats to the teachers and forgetting to take photos! Thank you to the Easley family for everyone who donated goods, wrote letters, and volunteered time.

Hi Everyone! The Easley Elementary PTA is hosting a BOE District 4 candidate forum and we'd love to invite any community members in this district to attend! The event will be IN PERSON next Wednesday, February 18, between 5:30 and 6:30pm at EASLEY ELEMENTARY.

The goal of the forum is to give District 4 families, staff, students, and community members an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their priorities and vision for Durham Public Schools. The event does not include any political endorsements and is designed to educate and engage voters.

The forum will be moderated by Chase Pellegrini du Paur of the Independent Weekly and will follow a consistent format to ensure each candidate has equal time and opportunity to respond.
