Ending the semester with celebration 🎉 Pioneer Scholars students spent their last day enjoying games, dancing, food, and awards to recognize all they accomplished this year.

The Emily K Center is closed today (May 25) in observance of Memorial Day.

We love seeing our students thrive! Jazmin, a current Scholars on Campus student, studied abroad in Australia this semester through a program at UNC Chapel Hill. She shared “During mid-semester break, I was able to explore Melbourne more, and I even went to the Australia Zoo and saw Robert and Terri Irwin (highlight of my semester along with the Grand Prix!)”

Scholars to College students recently heard from Jennifer King, the first Black woman to be a full-time assistant coach in the NFL and current offensive analyst for North Carolina Central University Department of Athletics 🏈 She shared her career journey and encouraged students to pursue their goals with confidence and determination. Thank you for spending time with us!
