I remember when our kindergarten class went from the old school over into the brand new building. It was quite amazing to have a water fountain and a bathroom right in the classroom! Another cool feature was how the teachers’ offices all connected in the middle of the forest classes. You could go through Mrs. Dodson’s (my teacher) office and into any of the other 3 classrooms from their teacher’s office! I thought that was so amazing!

MEMORY FOR THE DAY:
I remember very fondly our Halloween Festivals at Bethesda. They were SO much fun and I looked forward to them every year.
Who remembers that one year when in front of the gym there was a little jail cell where teachers would volunteer to get in and you could by tickets to either keep them in jail or set them free?

Great times!!

Who here remembers the fishing game where you won a prize every time by just holding the fishing pole and someone behind the wall would pull down on the line and clip a prize on the clothespin? We really had an excellent Elementary school.

I hope this sparked some memories with all of you.

Who remembers Mr. Evans the school bus driver?

Who remembers their third grade teacher?

Was Mrs. Faulk REALLY a mean teacher?

What about Mr. Harrol, (I think I spelled that right) did anyone else play football for him?

How about playing “popcorn” in the gym with a parachute and dodgeballs?

How about Mr. Hill or Mr. Butler? I visited both of their offices frequently!!🤣😂
